All Crimean Tatar groups were closed in Bakhchisaray’s kindergartens

All Crimean Tatar groups were closed in several kindergartens in Bakhchisaray. Education will be provided in Russian only.

An activist Edem Dudakov wrote it on Facebook.

«The last «Bendera» source in Bakhchisaray was destroyed. They closed the Crimean Tatar groups in the kindergartens # 8 and # 14 and the basic institutions of the national school # 5. Education in previously recruited groups has been provided in Russian since 2017. New groups will be recruited mixed only. As it found out, the pre-school establishment statutes do not stipulate national group provision. This consecution follows throughout Crimea», Dudakov said.

Earlier a website «15 minutes» reported that a head of the Sovetskiy district education department in Crimea, Valentina Akulenko had demanded by September 1, 2017, to remove Tamga image from the national school gates in Sovetskiy village. Later on the school leadership had been forced to hew to local authorities demand.
